Have you heard…

…about The Triple Triumph?

It began with a perfectly reasonable suggestion that one type of chocolate ought to be quite sufficient.

Dark was proposed. Milk made a compelling counterargument. White, having apparently overheard the discussion, arrived without invitation.

Rather than choose between them, the House did what it does best and exercised absolutely no restraint whatsoever.

The result was a deeply chocolatey sourdough cookie, generously studded with all three.

Some called it excessive.

The House called it The Triple Triumph.

Serving Suggestion
Best enjoyed slightly warm, when all three chocolates are at their most persuasive. A cold glass of milk or a strong coffee makes a particularly agreeable accompaniment. Sharing remains entirely optional.

And for the individual suggestions:

Warm & Indulgent
Warm briefly until the chocolate begins to soften. Proceed without unnecessary delay.

Coffee Break
Pair with a strong coffee for a suitably serious approach to elevenses.

Milk & Cookies
Serve with a cold glass of milk. A classic arrangement, and one that requires very little improvement.

Dessert
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Excessive, perhaps. Entirely appropriate, certainly.

Best enjoyed on the day of baking, when their centres remain soft and their edges hold their refined crispness.

Short-Term Keeping
Store in an airtight tin or jar at room temperature.
They will remain at their best for 2–3 days, retaining their tender centre and gentle chew.
Keep away from direct sunlight and heat, as the chocolate may soften.

To Restore Their Composure
Warm gently in a low oven (around 150°C) for 3–5 minutes.
This will revive their molten heart and revive the browned-butter aroma beautifully.

Longer Storage
Cookies may be frozen if required.
Place in a well-sealed container or bag, removing excess air.
Defrost at room temperature, then warm briefly to return them to society-worthy condition.

Notes on Texture
Sourdough cookies naturally deepen in flavour over time. Their edges may soften slightly after the second day, but their muscovado warmth and chocolate richness remain reliably composed.
