Terms & Conditions

By ordering from The Cultured Crumb Bakehouse (“we”, “us”, “our”), you’re agreeing to the following terms. Nothing sinister, just a few house rules to keep things running as smoothly as a well-fermented loaf.

1. Ordering

All loaves are baked fresh to order and subject to availability.
On rare occasions, if ingredients or oven space are lacking, we reserve the right to decline an order (though we’ll do our best to avoid such drama).

2. Payment

Payment is taken when you order.
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
Prices may rise like a well-proved dough, but once your order is confirmed, it won’t change.

3. Delivery

Select your preferred delivery day from the available dates shown at checkout for your territory.
Milton Keynes Households: Deliveries are made between 5pm–7pm. For office dwellers of noble standing, a desk drop-off may be arranged on the day itself.
All Other Households: Deliveries are made between 7am–9am. Should your residence be in slumber at this uncivilised hour, your loaf shall be left discreetly at your door without a knock.
We cannot be held responsible for missed deliveries if the address or details provided are inaccurate.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Plans change — we understand. Please cancel at least 48 hours before your slot to receive a refund.
Cancellations after this time may not be refundable, as your loaf will already be in motion.
If we’ve made a mistake or the quality isn’t up to scratch, let us know within 24 hours and we’ll do our best to set things right.

5. Allergens & Ingredients

Our loaves are crafted in a kitchen that handles wheat, nuts, sesame, dairy, and eggs.
While care is taken, we cannot guarantee any loaf is completely allergen-free.
Please check descriptions carefully before ordering.

6. Shelf Life & Storage

Sourdough is best enjoyed on the day of delivery.
Stored properly, it will keep for several days — and it freezes beautifully if you’d like to save a slice of splendour for later.

7. Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (though we do hope our loaves only ever bring joy).
Our liability is limited to the value of the order in question.

8. Updates

We may refine these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version live at the time of your order will always apply.

9. Privacy & Data

We only collect the personal details we need to process your order (such as your name, contact details, and payment information).
Your data is used solely for the purposes of fulfilling your order, contacting you about it if necessary, and — if you’ve opted in — keeping you informed about new loaves and bakehouse news.
We never sell or share your personal details with third parties, except where needed to process payments or deliveries.
Your information is stored securely and only for as long as necessary. If you’d like your details updated or removed, just let us know.
By ordering with us, you consent to your data being used in this way.
