Have you heard…

…about The Crackertons?

It began, as these things often do, with a little sourdough discard and absolutely no intention of wasting it.

What emerged from the oven was thin, crisp and dangerously moreish. Naturally, one flavour was never going to be enough.

Now they appear in several guises, from sharp cheese and English mustard to sesame and miso, each with its own particular way of disappearing rather faster than intended.

The Crackertons.

Proof that even the leftovers know how to conduct themselves.

Best accompanied by good cheese, charcuterie, dips and chutneys, preferably as part of a generously stocked grazing board. Sharing, naturally, remains entirely at your discretion.

Cheddar & Everything Bagel Seasoning
Particularly good with cream cheese, whipped feta or a sharp chutney. A very capable addition to the cheeseboard.

Mature Cheddar & English Mustard
Pair with good ham, mature cheese and something suitably pickled. Practically demands a proper ploughman’s spread.

Parmesan & Black Pepper
Serve with charcuterie, soft cheese, olives or tapenade. The sort of company Parmesan tends to keep.

Rosemary & Sea Salt
Pair with hummus, whipped ricotta or a warm baked cheese. Simple, classic and rather difficult to object to.

Sesame & Miso
Excellent with avocado, edamame hummus or something with a little chilli. A decidedly less traditional member of the collection.

Smoked Paprika & Manchego
Serve alongside chorizo, roasted peppers, olives or a smoky tomato dip. Best approached with something cold poured nearby.

Keep somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight. Once opened, reseal well or transfer to an airtight container to preserve their satisfying snap. Best enjoyed within 2 weeks of delivery, assuming they last that long.
